Protect Your Green Card with a Re-Entry Permit

Summary

A permanent resident of the United States could have their green card taken away if they spend too much time outside of the U.S. A person’s travel outside of the country is limited for all non-U.S. citizens. Exceeding these limitations could result in a finding of “abandonment of permanent resident status,” which would lead a person’s green card being taken away.
