The official notice issued by CIS says that only those 3 year EADs issued after the date of the injunction (2/16/15) need to be turned in. Some CIS officers are refusing to take them. Still other officers are insisting that all 3 year EADs must be returned to CIS. Obviously, this is still being sorted out. What we do know is that CIS is very serious about getting the 3 year EADs back because they have to report their efforts to the US District Court Judge in Texas. CIS has said they may revoke DACA status granted to applicants who refuse to turn in their 3 year EAD.
