Attorney Flomy Javier Diza joined Reeves Immigration Law Group in 2004 as an Associate Attorney in the Firm’s San Francisco Office. He was promoted in 2007 to a Senior Associate of the San Francisco office. He became a partner of the Firm in January 2008. He is the Supervising Attorney of the San Francisco and Makati offices. He is certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law.
Mr. Diza has successfully and efficiently represented clients for their Adjustment of Status to permanent residency, Naturalization, Waivers for crimes and prior misrepresentations and appeals. He represented clients before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Immigration Courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, The USCIS Administrative Appeals Office, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of State, and US Consulates Abroad. Mr. Diza applies the highest standards to every case and passionately helps his clients in successfully obtaining their reliefs including abused spouse petitions, Victims of crimes, provisional waivers for unlawful presence, Asylum, Employment-based matters, Appeals, and in Deportation/removal proceedings. Education
Attorney Diza earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Far Eastern University in October 1990 and his Law degree from the University of the City of Manila in the Philippines (Pamantasan Ng Lungsod ng Maynila) in March 1995. He was a consistent scholar and graduated one of the top students in his class.
Languages
Atty. Diza is fluent in Tagalog and speaks several Filipino dialects.
Memberships And Activities
Attorney Diza was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004 and is licensed to practice before the California Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth, Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Diza is also licensed to practice law in the Philippines. He is a Member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Filipino Bar Association of Northern California (FBANC), the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF) and is the President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Northern California Chapter (2019-2021). Mr. Diza is also a speaker on the latest immigration developments affecting Filipino communities. Finally, Mr. Diza regularly provides expert analysis on a variety of immigration matters for the PHLV radio shows broadcast world-wide (2018 to present).
