Sincie Chacko

Professional Experience

Attorney Sincie Chacko joined Reeves Immigration Law Group as an Associate Attorney in the San Francisco office in 2024. In her current role, she handles family-based cases before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and at U.S. Consulates throughout the world. Attorney Chacko also defends clients against deportation in Immigration Court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Prior to joining Reeves Immigration Law Group, Attorney Chacko developed significant experience handling defensive asylum cases before the San Francisco and Concord Immigration Courts. She fervently advocated for individuals seeking asylum, successfully representing clients and helping them obtain the protection they deserved.

Before transitioning to immigration law, Attorney Chacko served as a prosecuting attorney in Flint, MI, where she handled child neglect and abuse cases, as well as juvenile delinquency cases. Her dedication to protecting vulnerable populations has been a consistent theme throughout her legal career, driving her commitment to her clients.

Education

Attorney Chacko earned her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, majoring in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University Law School. While in law school, Attorney Chacko was part of the Trial Advocacy Team, Client Counseling Team, and served the local community through her law school’s Criminal Law Clinic. She was also actively involved in organizations such as the Christian Legal Society and Amnesty International.

Attorney Chacko was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2019. She is also a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the South Asian Bar Association.
