Kim Luu-Ng Will Be a Panelist to Discuss Immigration Enforcement at AAPI Unity Night

Kim Luu-Ng will be a panelist at AAPI Unity Night, an event hosted by Asian Americans Advancing Justice So Cal (AJSOCAL) in their offices located at 1145 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90017 on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 6 pm to 8 pm.

The Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County (APABA), Center for Asian Americans United for Self-Empowerment (CAUSE), Asian Americans Advancing Justice Southern California (AJSOCAL), the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance (APAWLA), Korean American Bar Association (KABA), Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association (SCCLA) and a number of AAPI bar associations will discuss the far-reaching impacts of federal immigration enforcement actions on the everyday lives of immigrant communities in Southern California.

In addition to Kim Luu-Ng, panelists will include AJSOCAL’s Katrina Espina, Medrano Law Firm, APC’s José Medrano, Thai Community Development Center’s Panida Rzonca, and CAUSE’s Nancy Yap.

Discussions will include an update on immigration enforcement a year into the second Trump Administration, and provide insights from lawyers and service providers in areas ranging from criminal defense, human trafficking prevention, family law, elections and voting, and small business / employer support.
