The end of the year is upon us, accompanied by hopes and dreams for the New Year.  This is a time of resolutions and charting courses for 2011.  At Reeves & Associates, we reflected on 2010 to help us plot our course for 2011.    December brought renewed hopes of the passage of the DREAM Act, which would have greatly benefited the U.S. economy and immigrant children.  While the momentum was not enough to pass the DREAM Act this month, President Obama, before leaving for Christmas vacation, pledged to push for passage of the DREAM Act in 2011.

Whether the DREAM Act is ultimately passed, Reeves & Associates remains committed to keeping families together, helping business of all sizes grow, and championing the rights of our clients before the Immigration Service and the Immigration Court in the New Year.  The incoming Congress for 2011 is expected to be tougher on immigrants.  Because of this, we know that now, more than ever, our clients will need our strongest efforts in pursuing immigration relief. We are ready for this challenge and will not be deterred by a split Congress in pursuing successful results for our clients.

Fortunately, our decades of hindsight provide us with the wisdom and insight to help our clients obtain benefits even in the hardest of times.  We know that our clients come to us and rely on us to search the far recesses of the law to assist them.  So once again, for this New Year, we will combine our knowledge gained over the years to guide our clients to success in 2011.   We renew our zeal to help those who require immigration assistance and show those who may have lost hope what possibilities may exist.

Hostile Congresses come and go.  But, there is always a bastion of immigration laws that help immigrants despite difficult politics.  This means that in 2011, families can still be reunited, business can still grow and prosper and immigrant relief can be pursued in the courts.  As always, we at Reeves and Associates welcome the New Year to allow us to assist those who need it.
