A federal judge in California has issued a nationwide injunction ordering President Trump and his administration to continue parts of the DACA program.  This decision was issued by a U.S. District Court on Tuesday evening and applies to the entire country. Here are some of the highlights of the decision.

•Existing DACA Beneficiaries: If you are protected by DACA right now, you must be allowed to renew your status in the program.  This presumably means that you can also renew your work permit.

•Initial DACA requests Not Accepted: The USCIS is not required to accept new applications for undocumented immigrants who have not previously applied for DACA.

•Advanced Parole:  The USCIS is not required to issue Advance Parole to DACA beneficiaries if they want to temporarily leave the U.S.

URGENT: Now is a very scary time to be an undocumented immigrant.  But you are NOT alone! RMZD is here to help. It is extremely important to contact us right away.  You may still be eligible to renew your DACA!
