March 1, 2023, begins the H-1B Cap Registration period for the fiscal year of 2024. Employers seeking to petition on behalf of an employee or potential employee must register between Noon ET on March 1st and Noon ET on March 17th. Applications outside of this period will not be accepted.
As of February 21, 2023, new petitioning employers have access to register a USCIS account. Employers who have previously petitioned for H-1B visas will use their existing accounts during registration.
Note, employers may register for multiple employees but will be charged a $10 fee for each.
